Off of I-81 and just north of Scranton, this long-running complex of five buildings gets mixed reviews for its roulette wheel approach to rooms: some respondents score with "palatial rooms, great beds" and "superb-spacious bathrooms", while others laugh over their "blast from the 1980s past" with quarters "badly in need of renovation" and others full of noise from "trains running behind the hotel" ("specify room type" to improve your chances); still, the "cozy restaurant with a fireplace" that serves dressed-up versions of American classics isn't half-bad.

Terrible hot water, maid service not good, problems with the toilet flushing. Booking through Priceline gets you whatever room the hotel cannot rent.
